was not able to find where is the limitation, you willl have to debug this at your end

currency support is not built in, you will have to add it manually

thanks Mr Ganesh :)

and last but certainly no least, how do I edit the 'shopitem' table in mobileshopping database? Im using MySQL Query Browser to edit the data on the database. All tables can be edited except the 'shopitem' table which contains 'shopid', 'itemid', 'qty', 'price', 'extrainfo' and 'lastupdated' fields. Why?

you should be able to edit, use heidisql - http://www.heidisql.com/ - if you are having trouble

Thanks sir, the database can be edited using heidisql. Sir, where is the correct location for the server src? I am only placed the server classes in WEB-INF folder. Let say if I want to edit the servlet - CartManager.java ; where i need to put the all the java files inside the servlet folder?

server classes directory :
C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1\webapps\mobileshopping\WEB-INF\classes

does above directory for the server classes correct?

So, if need to recompile the server classes, i need to put the server source that contain all the java files for the server in :

C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1\webapps\mobileshopping\WEB-INF\src

correct?

you don't need to put the src folder, just the classes folder will do

yes i know, but how do i edit the class file? it needs a java file isn't it? i want to edit the CartManager.java, so from what directory i need to compile it and then replace the existing CartManager.class file in C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Tomcat 4.1\webapps\mobileshopping\WEB-INF\classes\CartManager.class

you may want to use Netbeans to open the folder as a Project with Sources, you can then edit the source files directly and generate the class file.

There is no requirement to place the server src folder when running the final application. You need to create a new J2ME project in Netbeans with existing sources. Sorry, going in more detail will be a lengthy process for me. You may wnat to refer to his link for more info on how to add J2ME support in Netbeans
