bad software

by Prashanth on Wed Dec 07, 2005 11:09 pmPostQuick Link PostView Single Post

I just installed s software from Symbianfreak that said it would allow me to save sms on to the memory card. But when i opened my inbox there were no messages anymore. Also it created an icon msdrive E. When i tried to open it, it showed error message.

Then i restarted my mobile and now am able to send & receive messages. But there is a memory card icon at the top whenever i open messaging. How to rectify this? Also i tried to reset to factory settings. It didn't solve my problem either.

are you using the n-gage phone?

First, try this: Switch off your phone, remove the MMC and switch it back on.

Still does't work? remove your MMC and format it via the PC using a card reader.

format the phone by using #7370. then insert back the mmc after formatiing.

I am using n-gage qd. If I format the phone, how can I use it again?

I'll definitely try out removing the MMC first and inserting again. Thanks a lot for your help.

when you format your phone, you lose all contacts, calendar and programs and everything installed on to the phone. Basically it brings the phone back to "factory state".

keep us in the loop

Does that mean that the phone goes back to the state it was when I first purchased it? Doesn't formatting it erase all the useful files like the inbulit video player.

It's nice to see someone replying to the queries in a forum so regularly. I have been to many other forums and I have never seen a moderator as actively involved as in this forum.
Nice work Ganesh. Keep going.

I really enjoy visiting bootstrike.com!!!
